Lets say your right ... ( 4 months ago by SullySixx)
Lets say your right and she did take steroids way back in what 2006 you say? what does it matter now because she is not taking them now so SHUT YOUR MOUTH
Like I said, I hope ... ( 4 months ago by mulker47)
Like I said, I hope she's clean, but look at all the baseball players that got better from ages 30-40 and got caught. Then look at Holyfield and Foreman, who fought hard and courageously into their 40's but were nowhere near as good as they were in their mid-20's. Carl Lewis slowed down in the 100m and was not able to qualify in the 1992 or 1996 games. He did win gold in long jump in those years, but his prime sprinter years were over.
SullySixx......... ... ( 4 months ago by mulker47)
SullySixx.........do a websearch on IGF-1 and read about this potent form of HGH. People take it for 6 weeks, then reap benefits for months before taking it again. I know so many people that swear by it. I don't know a single person that had tested positive for it. It is not an anabolic steroid, but it is an effective performance enhancing drug. It heals injuries and creates a ripped physique as it supposedly changes your cellular structure.
Wrong. This ... ( 4 months ago by tkadri85)
Wrong. This statement in and of itself shows your ignorance. The steroid industry's JOB is to make steroids that can't be detected. Who would buy steroids that they know can be detected? Facts? All I've seen is mindless rambling from you.
If you even ... ( 4 months ago by tkadri85)
If you even bothered to read what I wrote, I never said that she used steroids in that three weeks after birth. I am suggesting that she used steroids to heal and recover from her numerous surgeries that she had. In one of your statements on here you said that 41 isn't that old. Compared to a person in their twenties, it is.By a person's thirties they are already on the way down as far as their prime is concerned.Men's testosterone(needed for muscle growth) levels start declining. at this age.
Once again, learn ... ( 4 months ago by tkadri85)
Once again, learn to read before you open your mouth because it is obvious that you have read none of my post nor researched the events surrounding Dara Torres. You're basically talking out of your ass. I never said that she used steroids just during the three weeks after giving birth. I never stated EXACTLY when she used them, just that it seems probable given the circumstances. Sad that just because honest people want to see honest athletes, that others feel the need to make petty remarks.
Actually it does ... ( 4 months ago by tkadri85)
Actually it does matter because the results of steroid use can last long after taking them. Part of the reason that anyone even gives a damn about her is the age at which she is doing this. Most athletes get injured in old age because the body cannot carry the burden that it did in younger years. The same happened to her yet she came back. If she had to use steroids to do it, then their is nothing miraculous about it. She is just another Barry Bonds.
tkadri85 is right.. ... ( 4 months ago by mulker47)
tkadri85 is right....you just don't get better than you ever were at age 41. The body just doesn't move the same way after a certain age. How many 41-year old NFL running backs are there? How many 41-year old 100m sprinters are there? Holyfield and Foreman are my perfect comparisons. They did great things after their physical primes, but they had to adjust to their age. Dara just got better as she got older and retired twice. It is very suspicious.

urbanranger101.......It's spelled "You're all wrong." You are is joined to become you're, not your. If you are going to use profanity to insult me, please use correct grammar. I always said I am a big fan of hers and hope she is clean. Read my other posts.
urbanranger101..... ... ( 4 months ago by mulker47)
urbanranger101.......another tip of advice. You can't really "hide" behind fake screen names. I'll know who you are by tommorrow morning. As for me being a complete dumbass, I have a Masters degree and earn 150K per year. I am also a retired pro football player and know people who have used hormone replacement to heal injuries. I also know people who have spent time with Olympic swimmers in the past 20 years since Seoul.

Wow, what a lying little shit you are.
somnambulist..... ... ( 4 months ago by mulker47)
somnambulist.....The truth hurts, I guess. You can't really "hide" behind fake screennames, so I would suggest you at least don't graduate from profanity to terroristic threats. I am being honest, here. I know so many people who use tiny doses of hormone replacement to heal injuries. Read my earlier posts, too. I said I am a big fan of hers and hope she is clean. If me earning a nice living and being educated bothers you, then pay no mind to me. Calling me names doesn't bother me in the least.
I guess well ... ( 4 months ago by somnambuIist)
I guess well educated and well paid people can argue pointlessly on youtube as well as the rest of us "regular" folks, but I find it hard to believe you played professional football. Someone who really did wouldn't usually bring it up in an internet argument because they know no one would believe them.

somnambulist.....I never said I played in the NFL. I was a backup linebacker from 1990-93, bouncing around in Canada and American Minor Leagues. I should have worded it as "former" versus retired as I clearly still work and barely made any money from football. However, I don't resort to profanity in my posts.

A true ambassador ... ( 4 days ago by stretchsportguy)
A true ambassador and the epitome of human excellence. Before the medals you were already a champion. They serve only to confirm it. Your excellence does not depend on the water rather it is who you are that swims. And the race cannot be measured by medals whether you win them or not.
