The God Theory
Uploaded by: haisch
Video Description:
(www.thegodtheory.com) Video discusses why it is possible to believe in both science and God, a God that is compatible with the Big Bang and evolution. Is there a plausible purpose behind the Universe consistent with modern astrophysics? See http://www.thegodtheory.com

Also science never proofed that "God didn't make the universe", all it did was proof that every God that us humans could make up for the last thousands of years did not make the universe.
It's hard to prove there's no god.
But it's easy to prove the Christian God doesn't exist.
It is logically impossible that any being can have the following characteristics:
1- all-knowing
2- all-powerful
3- actively involved in human affairs
4- loving in nature.
1 and 2 and 3 are consistent.
1 and 3 and 4 can be consistent.
But to see evil and choose not to stop it
one cannot be loving.
And when we add his eternal torture chamber...
Nope.
If you're an athiest, there is nothing after death and this life is pointless, so why don't you kill yourself?
Religion is not a dog chasing his tail, it's rooted in the same curiosity that science comes from, the human need to understand the universe around us. It can be twisted like anything though...
Science works with empirical data, evidence that is reproducable, etc. Religion, if it wants to say it is based on faith, is not. It is based on...well faith.
Seeing evil and choosing not to stop it does not make one un-loving if you are the one who gave us choice in the first place. You also can't have good without evil, as then good would just be everything. And this eternal torture chamber is perhaps just a place with a complete lack of anything good or God-like, which would make evil the absolute there.
The answer is it's a very political way to present the idea, biased towards one side...
The sad thing is religious people are supposed to do that, not atheists.
Is the purpose just to exist? Why? The great unanswerable question, what is the meaning of life?
Pointing fingers and mocking is always fun, I suppose,
but does nothing to further our understanding.
If any part of my logical construct is faulty
please be good enough to show me the error.
1. Maybe life is adapted to the universe this seems far more obvouse then the universe is made for life - ochams razor.
2. Multiverse explains all the issues. Its not random universe its variation.
3. They say dark energy - even though there is too much of it and eventually our universe will be ripped apart and every atom split in a few bil for now.
4. No one even knows what dark matter is so saying it here is stupud - same with energy.
- No time was created when the universe began before that there was no time. You have to understand time is not actually what you think it is, its a fabric. Time and space are one thing, with matter spots covering the surface. Mass bends the sheet creating gravity and time dilation, so does speed.
Time as you think of it does not exist.
Because life is for experiencing, not for explaining. If you're looking for explanations either through religion or science you're missing the point!
Our minds demand answers, we think from start to finish. Its hard to comprehend but there is no reason why there has to be anything, not even time itself existed.
On the other hand if multiverse is true we are just one of infinit bubble universe in a bathtub of bubbles :)
If the rebounding universe was true then for infinit time each way there was universes expanding and collapsing. Atm those theories arent develiped enough though to be full theories.
