i really dont mind as u can see in my video response i have homebrew channel so i can play any music format :P.
and i currently got an externall HDD hooked up to my wii so i can have all my music on that aswell as videos to play with different homebrew aps.

Srsly, Nintendo should make a Music Channel and a DVD player channel...either a firmware update or download from the wii shop. As orfinary as these things are nowadays it'd make the wii much better to have in the living room..

uhm dude..i dont think nintendo would sell the homebrew channel...I think its a download u install from a website. Also, they wouldnt sell that because u can put all kinds of apps on it like OS, games, emulators, and other shit. if u do install it there is a small chance ur wii mite get bricked

The Homebrew Channel is a hack channel allowing you to play homebrew Wii games from your SD card. It's not on the Shop Channel, and Nintendo doesn't endorse it. In fact, Nintendo recommends not using it.

well the worst part of the wii is the lack of hard drive. 2.5k blocks!! thats only about 200mb which isnt even one gigabyte! the lowest for the other systems are TWENTY gigabytes! it would take up alot of space

actually the 360 has a model that does not even come with a harddrive at all. also the wii might be small but you can save a lot of stuff though. plus you can by sd cards to save even more and i heard now you can save onto a harddrive and use it thru the usb port. dont know if you have to have the hack for that or not though. and you can also save some onto the remotes as well.

i think he had songs on his phone, so he took the memory card out from the phone and stuck it into the wii, then the wii recognizes the pics, and in slide show mode u can pick a song which was in your phone. I think you have to update your wii to get this
