This song is particularly haunting for me to hear considering she died 4 months after this performance. It was like her mantra...just perfect for her. A beautiful performance and a beautiful woman. Peace.

I was born 8 years and 1 day after this performance, so I wasn't around when Janis was alive, but, I LOVE her, I think she is, by far, one of the TOP 5 singers EVER. I'm a music lover, I love all types of music, from Madonna to Tupac Shakur to Patsy Cline, but, above them all will always be Janis Joplin.
