uh im pretty sure he's not playing for real, and since hes one of the people involved with the game, the enemies probably aren't actually doing any damage to him so he can show us the stuff. relax guys, this is gonna awesome.

well as he stated before hand it is the first build so all it is, is the game can be played from start to finsih the graphic quality is at a minimum just so that the developers can play through it to see how the game is played straight through

the game is in pre-alpha stage, they dont have much done at all, its just the most obvious part was the explosion .
