volker pisper ist kabarettist. punkt. ob man seine meinung teilt, sei dahingestellt. das nennt sich nämlich in diesem lande immer noch "MEINUNGSFREIHEIT". kommt da langsam eine erinnerung an "RELIGIONSFREIHEIT"? klingt komisch, ist aber so.

you should check a few of your dates and numbers, they do not add up. and yes the US have done a few good things in the past, but many of the problems are actualy their fault. there would be no need to give moeny to fight aids if the US government would allow the african countries to produce their own aids drugs and give them out to their people, and not bang on about copy rights etc. And who do you think produces most of the aids drugs? US companies.

Yes, he is right with a lot of the things. But that applies only if you narrow down your perspective on the world to that of a naive, left German do-gooder. I hate Bush too and I condemn the Iraq war, but because of our history, we mostly get away with cherry-picking and getting our cheque book out when it comes to global conflicts. We hardly exercise the responsibility in the world, we should to based on our economic power...
