Yeah, that mom should so be sent to jail for a long time. It's just blatant pointless harming another human being. She had nothing to gain from it and just made someone suffer. Those ppl deserve to be put away even if the girl didn't kill herself. Legally I think the best you can do is manslaughter (still have to have a real good lawyer for that) and some sort of assault or abuse or something.
