We were passing through Kernersville, North Carolina and spotted this little white van, parked at a restaurant, with bold red letters and a large phone number printed on the side.
It read "History Making Farming Author - On the move"
We had to find out what this meant, so we called the number and it led us to a farm in Rural Hall, NC to meet a wonderful storyteller on a mission to teach children how to grow their own food.

This summer I'm growing corn, melons, tomatoes and cucumbers in the yard. I'm going to grow the tomatoes upside down and hanging from posts to save space.
Great Gas Mileage!
We are editing one about the French and Indian War here in the Carolinas. Should be up within a few days.
Thanks for the push
Can't wait for the video -- will be looking forward to it :)
Next year I'm planting a big vegetable garden again, but I have it planned better.
A good place to visit in Rural Hall is the Nazareth Lutheran Church on Hwy. 65. There are Confederate graves in the church graveyard and a Revolutionary war Lt.Colonel Anthony Bitting whose land was once the entire town.
