I'm of the opino that Jarmusch's first two films were definitely the height of his career. I liked Ghost Dog and Night on Earth a lot, but most of the rest of it has been pretentious, pseudo-European wankery. He's still got the world's coolest hair, though!

this is the best movie ever. love the scene where they are driving to cleveland and this guy keeps saying to his buddy "hey Eddie" and not responding to eddie's response. also when they show them watching a movie and eating popcorn for what seemed like ten minutes without any dialogue. if the scene where they get caught cheating at cards was cut this movie would have been the best ever. i'm thinking maybe my appreciation of this movie misses the point of living without need for excitement or en
