The only thing more ... ( 2 weeks ago by brwnwd99)
The only thing more perfect than the USMC Silent Drill Platoon is God, his sonny boy Jesus Christ and a Marine with his weapon. And God truly loves the US Marine Corps because we keep him supplied with fresh souls...
The Corps has been ... ( 1 week ago by as23we12)
The Corps has been doing a lot of things since it's inception. Surely you don't agree with them all....friend?
There must be the "odd little thing" that rankled slightly when you heard about it? Something from history maybe?
Perhaps something current?....or maybe some little thing from SOP's?
Then again....you probably think things are simply peachy just the way they are.
.....ah.....it must be nice to be so righteous. Sort of all warm and snugly.
So your point would ... ( 1 week ago by as23we12)
So your point would be..."Join the Marine Corps....and become a perfect soul for Jesus"?
Yeah......Well........Eeeerm......Hey, I guess it's a point of view.
It's just that the last perfect little soul I met was 16....and had PE4 strapped to her body.
But I guess you're right about God loving perfection......they seem to be the ones He welcomes most often.
Why are you so lame ... ( 1 week ago by wingchunronin)
Why are you so lame, you osama voting piece of shit? I bet you think m. moore and the multi-untalented, never funny a. franken are gods. And let me guess, h. clinton really did dodge sniper fire and b. clintoon was framed and railroaded by m. blewinski. It is painfully obvious that you detest America, but let me ask you, "friend"; what has America ever DONE TO YOU? America haters can never give a str8 answer to this str8 question. Go suck w. ayers noodle, bitch boy. Go to france, just die, punk!
I didn't vote for ... ( 1 week ago by as23we12)
I didn't vote for Osama...but then ...neither did most Americans. We deserve what we get in life!
What do I dislike about America?
Gosh!...Where to start?
I guess it won't matter what I say...the appaling education of Americans today won't let you understand much of it anyway...But here are a few headings..
1960 Iraq.
Suez.
Propaganda 1950-1989
"Blue-on-blue"
Supporting terrorism...Northern Ireland, Contras...Afghanistan...etc.
McCarthy.
I'm running out of characters..not reasons..
Hey...look....I'm a ... ( 1 week ago by as23we12)
Hey...look....I'm a forgiving sort of person.
If you can talk sensibly about a single one of the headings I gave you.....I'll listen.. and perhaps you'll have converted someone to your way of thinking.
Alternately....just swear a lot and ignore all the headings....and I'll understand you were unable to defend America using your witts.
Time to choose.
By the way...Wing chun(chinese) Ronin(japanese) Wingchunronin?....an all american eh?
Well, well, someone ... ( 1 week ago by wingchunronin)
Well, well, someone did their homework. I don't care how forgiving you are, and what the fuck does that have to do with anything? And what headings, the same old tired leftist diatribes? YOU never addressed my original question, dodging it true weak liberal fashion. What has America done to you? In answer to one of your pinheaded topics, of course the USMC has done things to piss me off, when I was in, and just recently in the prosecution of Marines fighting for their lives. May I suggest (cont)

(cont) googling my favorite Theo. Roosevelt quote, in fact it is my favorite quote, "The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena...". As to your hilarious comment about my YT name, I have done Wing Tsun for 5 yrs and I love Japanese history, art, culture, etc. But you wouldn't understand 'violence', would you? Keep running from those fights, keyboard tough guy, and keep telling yourself your morally superior. Fianally, I just like swearing at you, loudmouth. Bring it...
Damn you. You don't ... ( 1 week ago by s3xyb34r)
Damn you. You don't need to be a white to be an American, you ignorant shit. America is a diverse nation which includes all races as their own, unlike your "perfect" world full of whites. This is why the American nation is so superior to yours.
You're wide of the ... ( 1 week ago by as23we12)
You're wide of the mark with the violence comment. My dislike of Americas foreign policy stems from ending up in places with unfriendly natives as a direct result of poor policies. My dislike of Americas armed forces comes from having more to fear from my ally than from our enemy. But the big one, is picking up body parts dissasembled by weapons bought with US donations in my own backyard. Then having to listen as the US condemns terrorism after having supported it around the world for years.
I guess though that ... ( 1 week ago by as23we12)
I guess though that I should also mention, I have always found Americans themselves to be the most warm hearted and hospitable people you could meet. Sadly, America as a nation, is not the sum of it's people. Example...In the Falklands war, American help probably saved my life. But we had to threaten to leave NATO or publicly call on America to honour it's treaty commitments, before that help was given. Today we support you around the world, though yesterday you put guns in the hands of the IRA.
Array ( 1 week ago by as23we12)
P.S.
My own favourite Roosevelt quote is "Walk softly...but carry a big stick".
America today has a great love of sticks.....but has forgotten how to walk the walk.

Ich schwöre bei ... ( 1 week ago by silentmercenary)
Array ( 1 week ago by as23we12)
No..you aren't.
You're just some dopey kid with an ambition to live a life that means something. Not unique.
The ambition though....a good thing!
You might want a better role model than someone who lost a war and ended up burnt in a ditch though.
Sorry.

i disagree, how many countries do you think would of invaded 2 countries from across the globe in response to a terrorist attack?

I'm not sure I understand your point. Mine was that Roosevelt preferred the threat of great power to it's actual use.
Seem's to me he was a great man. Not least because those things he accomplished...he accomplished whilst in great pain and with failing health.
I believe, at heart, he was a humanitarian. He seemed to care a great deal about the people he served..and, unusually, those whose lives he affected. He seems to me to have been a great leader...But as an American, you would know better.
My point is America ... ( 6 days ago by 85737520)
My point is America isnt afraid to walk the walk as you say. I guess i took that statement more as "america loves great sticks, but will not use them."
Ive always wondered if FDR would of used the A-bombs on the Japanese.
Yeah...When I read ... ( 5 days ago by as23we12)
Yeah...When I read it again, I wasn't very clear, was I?
I only meant that the walk was soft. The stick hung in the background. It just seems that, these days, the stick is all we ever see on the news. Dead children. Prisoners molested. Women crying.
I guess old Theodore might have done it differently.
But then, he didn't live in these times, did he?
I can't help thinking though...'leaders shape their times'....and America hasn't had a Roosevelt for a long time.
Shame really.

I agree with those statements.
But if you were to ask me who my favorite president was, itd be James K. Polk, the most underrated man in our history in my opinion.
I gotta be honest ... ( 4 days ago by as23we12)
I gotta be honest and admit I don't know much about Polk....not a man much talked about.
...But I'm intrigued...so I'll have a look.
For me though...the heady days of Franklin Delano R.
With todays economic climate....maybe Obama has an FDK in there somewhere?......lets hope.

I guess the guy just wants his chance.
Trouble is...lifes not at all like Hollywood.
Just because you want it....don't make it so.
Lets hope he ain't the post turtle.
We really deserve something better than another turtle.
GO OBAMA....or go...Obama.
