ok, i'll tell you the basic thing. you know what anime is dont you? it's a convention all about anime, manga and game and everything related to it; plushies, wallets, wallpapers, cosplays are sold at those conventions. the anime/manga/game lovers go to these cons to find their goodies and see other cosplayers (I was Marth). there're anime conventions held in different states at different times. google and find the next con at nearest of where you live, then you'll really know what it is.
