He is willing to talk to other countries rather than threaten war, he has a sound environmental policy as well as an economic one. He has done excellent in every position he has ever held.

Of what value NOT letting Al Qaeda brag that the US is a paper tiger? Of what value freeing 26 MILLION people from tyranny? Of what value Arabs finding they have in democracy an alternative to religious or political tyranny?

The lovely thing about a war with Iran is that you could go out and hold candlelight vigils and speak truth to power and so forth. So it wouldn't be all bad.
Iran acted in it's self interest in fighting Sunni enemies. That doesn't mean they're the good guys. Having enemies in common does not make people allies (or shouldn't - I wish you leftists would figure that out. Just because someone hates America does not make them your friend.
